Details of the Job/Internship
Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan is hiring a Principal Associate – Indirect Tax Litigation with 4–7 years of experience to join their office in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle engagements related to indirect tax laws, litigation, and advisory.
- Represent clients before judicial and quasi-judicial forums.
- Assist in tax restructuring, investigations, and litigation management services.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
- Lead and manage medium to large assignments independently, including pricing and billing.
- Contribute to business development and expand the client base.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across business units.
- Provide insights on industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Mentor team members and foster a high-performance work environment.
- Support talent acquisition and contribute to team development.
Eligibility
- Law graduate from a reputed law school with a strong academic record.
- 4–7 years of post-qualification experience in indirect tax litigation or advisory.
- In-depth knowledge of indirect tax laws and related regulations.
- Strong communication, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and proactive approach.
- Experience in representation before judicial forums.
