Details of the Job/Internship
M&CO Legal is hiring a Principal Associate Lawyer - Corporate/Commercial to join their office in Dubai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client matters and internal decision-making, staying updated on legal developments and industry trends.
- Represent clients in negotiations, meetings, and dispute resolutions, demonstrating strong advocacy skills and safeguarding client interests effectively.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and contracts, including but not limited to shareholder agreements, distribution agreements, licensing agreements, and employment contracts.
- Manage and oversee complex transactions and projects from inception to completion, ensuring all legal aspects are addressed efficiently and effectively.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior lawyers and legal assistants within the firm, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Eligibility
- Should have a minimum of seven years of experience in cross-border transactions, particularly in finance and M&A.
- Should be able to provide expertise in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, corporate governance, financial regulated activities, and corporate finance.
- Experience in the Energy sector would be an added advantage.
- Accredited Degree in Law.
