Details of the Job/Internship

Saga Legal is hiring a Principal Associate – Litigation with experience of 6–8 years to join their office in Hyderabad.

Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end case management including drafting pleadings, filings, and procedural compliance.
• Represent clients before the Supreme Court, High Courts, District Courts, NCLT, DRT, Labour Courts, Consumer Forums, and specialized tribunals.
• Handle a wide range of disputes including civil, commercial, insolvency, contractual, banking, employment, and white-collar crime.
• Draft pleadings, applications, legal notices, opinions, and client communications.
• Conduct legal research, case law analysis, and prepare case strategy notes.
• Coordinate with external counsel, enforcement authorities, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, timely filings, and accurate documentation throughout litigation stages.

Eligibility

• Strong drafting, legal analysis, and research capabilities.
• Experience coordinating with external counsel, enforcement authorities, and regulatory bodies.
• Familiarity with court procedures, local language, and regional legal nuances.
• Ability to guide and mentor juniors and contribute to team development.
• Strong leadership in managing workflows and team capabilities.
• High procedural accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient speaker with excellent articulation and courtroom presence.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate legal risks and offer client-focused advice.
• Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple matters effectively.
• Capability to build and nurture long-term client relationships.

Salary/Stipend
