Details of the Job/Internship

Khaitan & Co. is hiring Principal Associate with the experience of 6 to 8 years to join their office in Mumbai.

Eligibility

• Experience in running end-to-end M&A/PE transactions/deals including working on complex transactional documents etc.
• Complex structuring.
• Specializing in strategic M&A / PE/ Gen. Corporate transactional/advisory work.
• Exhibit strong practice skills including (a) oral and written advocacy; (b) contract drafting; and (c) analyzing and communicating technical matters.
• Efficiently manage timelines of assignments and are a multi-tasker able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Solution-oriented approach with proven ability to close transactions independently with minimal supervision.
• Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal - with a proven ability to communicate to all "clients" (internal and external).
• Good understanding of a wide range of legal subjects, ability to build on this knowledge, spot issues and bring in specialists as needed.
• Drive for technical superiority by staying abreast of developments in Law and be the go-to subject matter expert.
