Details of the Job/Internship
Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys is hiring a Principal Associate in Indirect Tax Litigation with 4–7 years of experience to join their office in Chandigarh.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle litigation and advisory work relating to indirect taxation.
- Manage appeals, representation before judicial forums, and support investigations.
- Advise on tax restructuring and compliance.
- Lead client service delivery and act as a trusted advisor.
- Build and expand client relationships with minimal partner involvement.
- Manage planning, budgeting, and execution of medium to large assignments.
- Drive marketing and business development activities to grow the client base.
- Mentor and guide team members while contributing to talent acquisition.
Eligibility
- Excellent communication and drafting skills.
- In-depth knowledge of indirect tax laws.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented with leadership skills.
- Ability to represent clients before various judicial forums.
- Innovative and solution-oriented thinker.
- CA or Law Graduate with strong academics.
- 4–7 years of post-qualification experience in indirect tax litigation or advisory.
