Details of the Job/Internship

Pant & Co has been mandated to hire a Principal Associate – M&A/Private Equity/Venture Capital with experience of 6–7+ years to join a leading full-service law firm in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end transaction lifecycle including structuring, due diligence, and closing.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents with minimal oversight.
• Handle domestic and cross-border M&A, PE, and VC deals.
• Manage client relationships and provide strategic legal advisory.
• Mentor and guide junior associates.

Eligibility

• 6–7+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong experience in M&A, Private Equity, or Venture Capital transactions.
• Proven ability to independently manage and lead transactions.
• Experience at a top-tier or specialized boutique law firm.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
