Details of the Job/Internship

Saga Legal is hiring a Principal Associate / Associate Partner – Litigation with 8–10 years of experience to join its Bengaluru office. The role involves leading complex litigation matters, managing case strategy, overseeing drafting and filings, representing clients before multiple forums, and providing leadership within the litigation team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Leading end-to-end case management across civil, commercial, insolvency (IBC), contractual, banking and recovery, employment, and white-collar crime matters.
• Overseeing drafting, filing, client representation, and procedural compliance before forums including High Courts, District Courts, NCLT, DRT, Labour Courts, and Consumer Forums.
• Drafting pleadings, applications, notices, legal opinions, and client communications supported by strong legal research and strategic reasoning.
• Managing litigation strategy through in-depth legal research, case law analysis, and preparation of detailed briefs and notes.
• Liaising with external counsel, enforcement agencies, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely and accurate documentation and filings.
• Managing and mentoring team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performance litigation practice.
• Maintaining high standards of procedural accuracy, attention to detail, and awareness of court practices and legal developments.

Eligibility

• 8–10 years of post-qualification experience in core litigation practice.
• Proven track record in handling complex disputes across multiple judicial and quasi-judicial forums.
• Strong leadership, client management, and team development skills.
