Silver Oak University is hiring a Head of Institute / Principal in the Law Department with experience of 10–15 years to join their office in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Department of Law.
• Foster a culture of academic excellence through regular faculty evaluations, mentorship, and support.
• Encourage scholarly endeavors, including publications, research centers, and academic partnerships.
• Collaborate with university leadership to manage resources and achieve strategic growth goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with law firms, governmental agencies, and professional networks.
• Oversee administrative functions, policy development, and compliance with accreditation standards.
• Represent the Faculty of Law in external forums, conferences, and national or international networks.
• Promote an inclusive environment and strengthen the law school's reputation within the legal community.

Eligibility

• Ph.D. in Law or LL.M. degree.
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in legal education and academic administration.
• Must have held a leadership role for more than 5 years.
• Strong research background with a portfolio of publications in leading legal journals.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse academic teams and mentor faculty in research.
• Prior administrative experience in a leadership position within a law college or department.
