Details of the Job/Internship

H.S. Ruprah Arts, Commerce & Law College is hiring for the position of Principal (Law) with 15 years of experience to join their campus in Jabalpur.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead the academic and administrative functions of the Law Department and the college.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant norms of the BCI, UGC, affiliating university, and state authorities.
• Promote high standards of teaching, research, and institutional governance.
• Mentor faculty members, research scholars, and students.
• Drive academic innovation and institutional growth in alignment with regulatory standards.
• Represent the institution in all external academic, legal, and administrative matters.

Eligibility

• Academic Qualifications:
• LL.M. with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates).
• Ph.D. in Law from a recognized university (Ph.D. notification is mandatory).
• Experience:
• Minimum 15 years of teaching and/or research experience in Law at recognized institutions.
• At least 5 years of LL.M.-level teaching experience.
• At least 3 years of experience guiding research scholars.
• Minimum of 10 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
• A minimum Research Score of 110 as per UGC Regulations, 2018 (Appendix II, Table 2).
• Prior experience in academic administration or leadership is highly desirable.
