Infosys is hiring a Principal Legal Counsel in the Office of Integrity and Compliance, Legal Department, with 14–18 years of relevant experience in legal and compliance roles to join their office in Bengaluru. The role involves working with a skilled legal team to provide legal and compliance solutions to business, especially in managing a technology and self-assessment-based enterprise-wide compliance management program for the Infosys Group.
Role and Responsibilities
- Own, implement, and adopt the Infosys Whistleblower Program with global and regional reach.
- Handle global investigations on various issues and negotiate and implement remediations.
- Contribute to compliance and integrity plans, prepare action plans, and implement changes.
- Review and improve whistleblower systems and feedback mechanisms in collaboration with HR.
- Plan, organize, and conduct trainings and communications to strengthen the whistleblower program.
- Interpret new regulations and laws by reviewing and analyzing legislation.
- Handle complaints, investigations, and remediation processes.
- Collaborate with functions such as facilities, government relations, finance, HR, sales, and delivery.
- Advise on public policy with the government relations team.
- Support company positions in complaints, investigations, and administrative proceedings.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and advise management on required actions.
- Provide precise legal counsel to address complex business issues.
Eligibility
- Qualified lawyer with a JD and relevant experience as compliance counsel.
- 14–18 years of experience in legal and compliance roles.
- Experience with corporate compliance programs.
- Additional qualification such as CA or CFA preferred.
- Extensive report and policy development experience in a multinational environment.
- Knowledge of IT industry regulatory standards, including Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust, and Trade Controls.
- Analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience in public speaking and business presentations.
- Interest in using technology for efficient program implementation.
- Ability to handle change management.
Salary/Stipend
