Details of the Job/Internship

DOKOPAY is hiring for the position of Principal Officer with 3 years of experience to join their office in Surat. 

Role and Responsibilities

Compliance Oversight:

• Ensure adherence to the PMLA, PML Rules, and AML/CFT regulations.
• Oversee transaction monitoring, ensuring effective mitigation of ML/TF (Money Laundering/Terrorist Financing) risks.

Risk Management:

• Identify, assess, and mitigate ML/TF risks related to products, services, clients, and geographical locations.
• Stay informed about emerging trends in ML/TF risks and contribute to high-level risk committees.

Regulatory Reporting:

• Respond promptly to regulatory and FIU-IND requests.
• Prepare and present quarterly AML/CFT reports to the Board of Directors.

Resource Management:

• Ensure the compliance team has access to all necessary resources and information to carry out compliance-related activities.

Internal Coordination:

• Collaborate with internal teams to collect and analyze compliance-related data.

Conflict of Interest:

• Maintain independence by avoiding involvement in business operations or holding any additional roles.
• Dedicate full-time effort to the VDA SP, ensuring there are no concurrent engagements with other entities.

Eligibility

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or related field. AML/CFT certifications (e.g., CAMS) are preferred.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in AML/CFT compliance, preferably within financial services or the VDA SP sector.

Salary/Stipend
