Details of the Job/Internship

L. S. Davar & Co. is hiring a Principal Associate – Patent (Drafting and Prosecution) with 8–10 years of experience to join their offices in Delhi, Mumbai, or Bangalore. The role involves leading and overseeing patent drafting and prosecution work, supervising junior associates, managing client relationships, and ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of patent services.

Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the preparation and prosecution of patent applications across various jurisdictions.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and patent professionals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, providing strategic IP advice.
• Review and ensure the quality of patent drafts, office action responses, and related work.
• Support business development and contribute to practice growth.

Eligibility

• Degree in a technical field such as engineering, computer science, or life sciences.
• Patent Agent preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in patent law, including drafting and prosecution.
• Proven leadership, client management, and team supervision skills.
