Details of the Job/Internship
IndiaLaw LLP is hiring for the position of Principal/Senior Legal Associate with 5-8 years of experience to join their office in Greater Kolkata Area.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise clients on a broad spectrum of corporate matters, including regulatory compliance, governance, transactions, and commercial contracts.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various corporate and commercial agreements.
- Provide strategic, business-aligned legal advice with practical implementation insights.
- Mentor junior associates and contribute to the firm’s knowledge development initiatives.
- Support business development efforts and participate in firm-wide strategic initiatives.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized law school.
- 5–8 years of post-qualification experience in corporate advisory practice.
- Strong command over corporate and commercial laws.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
- Proven ability to manage transactions and assignments independently.
- High level of professionalism, ownership, and team collaboration.
