Details of the Job/Internship
Acharya Bangalore Business School (ABBS) is looking for a candidate for the position of Principal with 10 years of experience to join their Law College.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the School of Law, ensuring academic excellence and adherence to the highest educational standards.
- Oversee curriculum development, ensuring alignment with contemporary legal practices and the needs of the legal profession.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative learning environment that supports both faculty and students.
- Represent the School of Law in academic and professional communities, building strong networks with industry, government, and legal institutions.
- Lead faculty recruitment, development, and retention efforts to build a team of distinguished legal scholars and educators.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, including the Bar Council of India, and uphold the values and standards of ABBS.
- Must be well versed with Bar Council of India & Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) compliance requirements.
Eligibility
- A distinguished academic background with a Ph.D. in Law or related fields, along with a substantial record of scholarly achievements.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in legal education, with at least 5 years in a leadership or administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of legal education trends and the ability to innovate and adapt to changes in the legal landscape.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive, student-centered academic environment.
