Details of the Job/Internship

Wipro is hiring a Privacy and Data Protection Manager/Senior Manager to join their office in Bengaluru. The role involves leading privacy and data protection strategies, enhancing operational processes, and ensuring compliance with legal standards while leveraging technological advancements.

Role and Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for privacy-related matters, providing expert guidance to business units and stakeholders.
• Lead the review and operationalisation of policies and processes, ensuring they are current and effective.
• Identify opportunities for streamlining and automating privacy and AI-related processes.
• Design and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities in privacy and data protection.
• Analyse and improve internal processes related to privacy and data governance.
• Integrate legal frameworks with technological developments to enhance operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy considerations into strategies and operations.
• Lead the development and implementation of privacy compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulations.

Eligibility

• Proven experience in privacy and data protection roles in a senior capacity, such as privacy lawyer, head of privacy, or senior risk professional.
• Strong knowledge of privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, PDPD, and others relevant to operational geographies.
• Experience in governance, risk management, and compliance within technology-driven environments, particularly relating to AI.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Demonstrated project management skills in fast-paced environments.
• Advanced degree in law, information management, security, or a related field is preferred.

Salary/Stipend
