Details of the Job/Internship

HCL Technologies Limited is hiring a Procurement Counsel with experience of 8+ years to join their legal team in Noida office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate procurement contracts including MSAs, SOWs, licensing, and service agreements.
• Provide legal advisory across the procurement lifecycle from vendor selection to contract termination.
• Ensure compliance with domestic and international regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and anti-corruption laws.
• Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks in vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with data privacy teams to incorporate data protection clauses.
• Develop internal policies and provide training on procurement and contract compliance.
• Handle disputes and contractual issues with vendors.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline contracting processes.

Eligibility

• Law degree and admission to practice.
• 8+ years of legal experience in commercial contracts and procurement.
• Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating complex agreements, especially in technology and software.
• Understanding of SaaS, cloud services, and IT procurement models.
• Experience with data privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Preferred: Experience in global procurement, contract management systems, and vendor due diligence.
