Details of the Job/Internship

Haleon is looking for a candidate for the position of Product Manager (Legal).

Role and Responsibilities

The Product Manager (Legal) within the Enterprise Applications / HR, Legal & Compliance Systems team, which is part of the D&T CTO organization, will work closely with Legal business teams, Tech Product & Service teams, third-party vendors and service providers to ensure proper functional design, implementation, and support for Tech solutions and first-class tech enablement, standardization, continuous improvement, and compliance of end-to-end Legal Tech functional operability.
The Product Manager (Legal) will be accountable for working across the product team to define, implement, and optimize our Legal systems (e.g., eDiscovery) & any related systems.
They will possess strong Legal business process & tech functional experience to be able to provide technical guidance and advice to the Senior Product Manager of Legal & Compliance, Product Directors/Managers & Experts, and Legal business process/delivery owners to ensure that Legal solution functionality is fit for purpose, meets the priorities & requirements from our stakeholders (e.g. alignment to business process & solution architecture design principles) and deliver value to our end users.
They will have technical experience in the area specific to their domain, be accountable for technical artifacts (such as system requirements and tech continuity plans), and ensure full compliance with internal security, risk management policies and practices, and external regulatory and statutory requirements.
They will also be responsible for working with Service Teams to manage change and release activities, including Software as a Service (SaaS) updates, in the production service and ensuring compliance.
This pivotal role will be a part of our Business Enterprise Applications Technology team, reporting directly to the Senior Product Manager of Legal & Compliance.

Expected Experience

Exceptional understanding of and exposure to Legal processes within the end-to-end Legal & cross functional business processes.
5+ years’ experience of working with enterprise solutions in these areas.
Legal technology solutions, supporting areas such as Legal eDiscovery, EDRM, litigation hold, data collection, export, and review, as well as global operations (e.g., Exterro or Relativity, Legal matter management, document management tools) & related systems configuration.
eDiscovery tool such as Axcelerate, Clearwell, Relativity, Exterro, etc.
Other related systems such as Corp Secretariat / Government affairs apps (e.g. BoardIntelligence, Brandwatch, Charitable giving portal, Insider track, etc.,).
Product/software development tools: A-ha, Jira is a plus.
Proven track record in successful product delivery, via Agile and waterfall delivery methods (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2 or Scrum Inc. Product Owner).
Experience of ensuring Tech solutions are compliant with internal. security, risk management policies and practices, and external regulatory and statutory requirements (e.g., GxP, SOX).
Experience of managing change and release activities, including Software as a Service (SaaS) updates, in the production service and ensuring compliance.
Experience in gathering business/system functional requirements and translating them into technical design specs, test scenarios/cases & documentation.
Experience working on global deployments (Global / Localisation concept).
Experience in troubleshooting various system issues by being able to correctly identify the root cause and providing the technical fix, solution, or workaround.
Experience working with third parties in the delivery of working products.
Experience working with teams across diverse countries and cultures effectively, within a large global FMCG or FMCH organization.
Understanding of ITIL Frameworks and service management practices for a complex, global service.
