V. O. Chidambaranar Port, formerly Tuticorin Port Trust, is one of the 12 major ports in India. It is second-largest port in Tamil Nadu and fourth-largest container terminal in India.

Details of the Job/Internship

V. O. Chidambaranar Port is inviting application for the position of professional Intern (Stenography) to join them at their office in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu.

Selection Procedure:

• In case of Professional Interns, Junior Professional Interns) selection will be based on the marks alloted for Educational Qualifications and Interview in the ratio 85:15.
• The provisionally selcted candidates will be informed for document verification through registered E-mail ID.
• If the candidate fails to appear for the document verification or if the details provided are found incorrect/false/incomplete, their candidature will be rejected and the next candidate on the merit list will be considered.
• Representation by the applicant regarding any of the aforementioned points will not be entertained.

Note:

• Candidate must possess the essential qualifications mentioned against each position.
• Qualifications mentioned above should be from any of the recognized Indian Universities duly approved by the UGC. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet/Degree/Diploma/Certificate/Membership of the necessary qualification and Experience as on 20.03.2025.
• The eligibility criteria specified herein are the basic criteria for applying for the position.
• Candidates must necessarily produce the relevant documents pertaining to discipline/field, nationality, age, educational qualifications, etc. in original along with a photocopy thereof in support of their identity and eligibility as indicated in the application form at any time of engagement process.
• No change of discipline/field will be permitted at any stage after submission of the application.

Eligibility

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree.
• Certificate/Diploma in Stenography with minimum typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English, and proficiency in MS Office.

• Framing Timeline & Road Map.
• Critical Analytical Skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Salary/Stipend

Monthly Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/-
