Details of the Job/Internship

IMS Unison University is hiring a Professor & Dean – School of Law with a minimum of 15 years of academic experience to join its campus in Dehradun. This is a full-time, on-site role involving overall responsibility for academic, research, and administrative functions of the School of Law. The role includes institutional development, curriculum planning, research initiatives, faculty recruitment, student admissions, programme evaluation, internships and placements, and collaboration with industry partners. The Professor & Dean will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction and growth of the School of Law. Salaries are as per the 7th Pay Commission recommendations, with flexibility for deserving candidates.

Role and Responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing academic, research, and administrative activities of the School of Law.
• Leading institutional development and strategic planning for the School of Law.
• Initiating and promoting research activities and publications.
• Developing and updating curriculum and academic programmes.
• Managing faculty recruitment, development, and evaluation.
• Overseeing student admissions, programme evaluation, and academic quality.
• Facilitating internships, placements, and industry collaborations.
• Building and maintaining relationships with industry and academic partners.

Eligibility

• Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Law from a reputed university or institution.
• UGC NET qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 15 years of full-time academic experience, including at least 5 years as a Professor in an institution of repute.
• Candidates with qualifications from or work experience in institutions of national eminence will be preferred.
• Excellent track record of research and publications in Law or related fields.
• Prior experience in academic leadership positions.
• Strong understanding of current trends and best practices in management education.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to accept a background check.
• On-site working requirement.

Salary/Stipend
