Amity University Raipur is hiring a Professor & Director – Law to lead the law school as its chief academic and administrative officer.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership to advance the academic mission of the law school.
• Oversee the development and implementation of innovative curriculum and programs that meet the needs of students and the legal profession.
• Promote interdisciplinary collaboration within the law school and across the university.
• Recruit, retain, and support a diverse and talented faculty committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for faculty members.
• Conduct regular evaluations of faculty performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success and well-being.
• Implement strategies to enhance student recruitment, retention, and graduation rates.
• Engage with students through academic advising, mentorship programs, and extracurricular activities.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the law school, including budget planning and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and institutional policies.
• Collaborate with university administrators, department chairs, and other stakeholders to advance institutional goals.

Eligibility

• Ph.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Distinguished record of teaching and/or practice.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in academic administration, preferably in a university.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of the law school's operations.
• Visionary thinking, strategic planning abilities, and a passion for legal education.

Salary/Stipend
