Chitkara University is hiring a Professor for its Law School in Chandigarh.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead academic and research initiatives to elevate the Law School to global standards.
- Upgrade teaching-learning processes and oversee accreditation and ranking efforts.
- Establish a culture of academic excellence and set academic goals.
- Build cohesive teams and maintain strong industry and academic networks.
- Manage senior-level administrative responsibilities and ensure compliance with accreditation requirements.
Eligibility
- LL.B, LL.M, and Ph.D. in Law.
- NET qualification is advantageous.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in legal education.
- Ph.D. from a reputed university in India or abroad.
- Experience in facilitating accreditation/rankings with external bodies such as NAAC and NIRF.
- Distinguished academician with notable academic achievements.
- Leadership capabilities to set academic goals, build cohesive teams, and promote academic excellence.
- Strong linkages and networks with industry and academia.
- Effective senior-level administrative skills with expertise in curriculum development, institutional quality assessment, compliance, and faculty development.
