Details of the Job/Internship
CGC Jhanjeri is hiring a Professor of Law with 15–20 years of academic and research experience to join their campus in Mohali.
Role and Responsibilities
- Academic Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate law courses.
- Supervise LL.M. and Ph.D. candidates.
- Design curriculum and enhance pedagogical approaches.
- Conduct interdisciplinary research and publish in reputed journals.
- Contribute to accreditations (NAAC/NBA/NIRF).
- Organize moot courts, legal aid camps, workshops, and FDPs.
- Administrative Responsibilities:
- Serve as HoD/Coordinator/Program Director as required.
- Lead academic planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Manage compliance with UGC/BCI norms.
- Mentor junior faculty in teaching and research.
- Support institutional committees (disciplinary, grievance, ICC/PoSH).
- Coordinate policy implementation with senior management.
Eligibility
- Ph.D. in Law.
- 15–20 years of academic/research experience.
- Minimum 10 publications in Scopus/peer-reviewed/referred journals.
- Proven Ph.D. supervision experience.
- Academic or administrative leadership experience preferred.
