Details of the Job/Internship
Dr. D. Y. Patil Dnyan Prasad University (DYPDPU) is hiring a Professor of Law to join their campus in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and conduct tutorials across various law subjects, particularly Constitutional and Criminal Law.
- Design, review, and update course materials to reflect legal developments and industry needs.
- Supervise and mentor students in academic projects and dissertations.
- Conduct and publish original research in reputed legal journals.
- Participate in academic and administrative committees.
- Guide and evaluate student research, moot court participation, and co-curricular legal activities.
- Contribute to the university’s strategic vision in legal education and research excellence.
Eligibility
- A Ph.D. in Law or a closely related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and other core areas of legal education.
- Proven track record of teaching, curriculum development, and academic mentoring.
- Strong research background with published work in peer-reviewed journals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in academic administration and committee involvement will be an added advantage.
