Details of the Job/Internship
Geeta University is hiring a Professor of Law with a minimum of 10 years of teaching and research experience to join their campus in Panipat.
Role and Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in core and specialized areas of law.
- Develop innovative teaching methodologies, case studies, and practical learning exercises.
- Guide students in moot courts, legal aid clinics, internships, and training.
- Supervise LL.M. dissertations and Ph.D. research scholars.
- Undertake independent and collaborative legal research.
- Publish research papers, articles, and books in reputed journals.
- Present research at national and international conferences.
- Seek research grants and funding from external agencies.
- Contribute to curriculum development in line with UGC, BCI, and NAAC guidelines.
- Mentor junior faculty and support faculty development.
- Serve on academic and administrative committees.
- Contribute to accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional ranking.
- Build linkages with the Bar, Bench, corporates, and NGOs for training and placements.
- Provide consultancy and expert legal opinions.
- Engage in community service through legal awareness and aid programs.
Eligibility
- Ph.D. in Law from a recognized university (mandatory as per UGC/BCI norms).
- Minimum 10 years of teaching and research experience in a university or college.
- Proven record of high-quality publications.
- Evidence of successful Ph.D. supervision.
- Strong academic and professional standing in law.
