Details of the Job/Internship

CGC University Mohali is hiring a Professor – School of Law for its campus in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. The role includes delivering lectures, designing and updating course curriculum, mentoring students, conducting academic research, publishing scholarly work and participating in departmental activities, along with guiding students in mock trials, legal clinics and community engagement initiatives.

Role and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures and design and update course curriculum.
• Mentor students and conduct academic research.
• Publish scholarly work and actively participate in departmental activities.
• Guide students in mock trials, legal clinics and community engagement initiatives.

Eligibility

• Expert knowledge and academic background in law, including areas such as Constitutional Law and Criminal Law.
• Strong legal research skills and ability to conduct impactful scholarly work.
• Experience in teaching, mentoring students and developing academic programs.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• PhD in law or a related field is highly preferred; LLB or LLM is required.
• Experience with modern teaching methodologies, including AI-enabled educational tools, is an advantage.
• Demonstrated commitment to advancing legal education and contributing to the academic community.
