Details of the Job/Internship

Chanakya University is inviting applications from distinguished scholars for the position of Professor of Law. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide high-level academic leadership in teaching, research, and the development of new curricula.
• Mentor undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students, while guiding early-career faculty members.
• Lead significant research initiatives, secure funded projects, and build international academic networks.
• Drive institution-building efforts, including program design and strategic academic governance.
• Develop and teach courses in specialized areas such as Constitutional Law, Technology Regulation, and Global Governance.
• Support experiential learning platforms, including policy labs, research clinics, and moot courts.
• Engage with contemporary policy debates to contribute to institutional reform in India and abroad.

Eligibility

• PhD in Law or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
• A distinguished record of scholarly publications in reputed journals or books.
• 10–15 years of experience in teaching and research within a university or research institution.
• Proven track record in academic leadership and mentoring faculty or students.
• Evidence of sustained national or international academic engagement (e.g., policy contributions or collaborations).
• Desired: Experience in grant writing and a commitment to interdisciplinary scholarship.
