Details of the Job/Internship

Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur is hiring a Programme Manager (Prisons, Courts and Legal Aid) with experience of 1-3 years to join their office in Nagpur or Amravati.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide overall coordination and supervision of prison-based legal aid and intervention activities.
• Ensure the smooth functioning of Legal Fellows, Social Workers, and Counsellors.
• Liaise with prison authorities, Legal Services Authorities, and courts.
• Monitor programme implementation, timelines, and deliverables.
• Prepare consolidated reports for the University and the funding agency.
• Ensure total compliance with programme objectives and ethical standards.

Eligibility

• Graduate in Law with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC categories).
• 1-3 years of experience working on similar programmes or projects.
• Computer proficiency, including the use of reporting, coordination, and monitoring tools.

Salary/Stipend

INR 40,000-50,000/-
