Details of the Job/Internship
Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur is hiring a Programme Manager (Prisons, Courts and Legal Aid) with experience of 1-3 years to join their office in Nagpur or Amravati.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide overall coordination and supervision of prison-based legal aid and intervention activities.
- Ensure the smooth functioning of Legal Fellows, Social Workers, and Counsellors.
- Liaise with prison authorities, Legal Services Authorities, and courts.
- Monitor programme implementation, timelines, and deliverables.
- Prepare consolidated reports for the University and the funding agency.
- Ensure total compliance with programme objectives and ethical standards.
Eligibility
- Graduate in Law with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC categories).
- 1-3 years of experience working on similar programmes or projects.
- Computer proficiency, including the use of reporting, coordination, and monitoring tools.
