Details of the Job/Internship
Trilegal is hiring an Associate – Projects with 1–3 years of experience to join their office in Bangalore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating project and commercial contracts.
- Handling Power Purchase Agreements, concession and licence agreements, and EPC, O&M, and supply agreements.
- Advising on fuel supply, transmission agreements, government approvals, and bid documents.
- Providing regulatory advice on land acquisition, environmental, and sector-specific laws.
- Supporting project finance transactions including due diligence, structuring, and negotiation of financing and security documents.
- Advising public and private sector clients such as developers, financial institutions, government authorities, contractors, and investors.
- Coordinating with internal teams on multi-disciplinary matters.
- Assisting in business development, client pitches, industry research, and knowledge publications.
- Staying updated on regulatory developments, government policies, and sectoral reforms.
Eligibility
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in projects, energy, or infrastructure practice.
- Qualified lawyer enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
- Strong understanding of project development and infrastructure laws.
- Ability to work on complex, high-value transactions.
