Details of the Job/Internship
Kayser and Company is hiring a Prosecution Associate with 2 years of experience for their Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle Madrid filings, including applications, renewals, and amendments.
- Draft and file oppositions, counterstatements, and evidences in trademark matters.
- Prepare and review legal documents, responses, and correspondence related to trademark prosecution.
- Attend hearings and liaise with regulatory authorities as required.
- Conduct legal research on trademark laws, precedents, and international IP regulations.
- Coordinate with clients, trademark offices, and legal teams for case updates.
- Ensure timely submission of filings and compliance with deadlines.
Eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in Madrid filings and prosecution.
- Proficiency in drafting oppositions, evidences, and applications.
- Experience in attending hearings and handling trademark prosecution matters.
- Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with intellectual property laws and procedures
