Details of the Job/Internship

Airtel is looking for a Public Policy Manager with 2 to 4 years of experience in policy, research or a related strategic function, preferably in telecom, digital, or technology-driven sectors.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and articulate policy positions across telecom, broadcasting, financial services, entertainment, and digital ecosystems. 
• Track, monitor, and analyse competition, market and regulatory trends & provide strategic updates to support policy advocacy. 
• Prepare briefing notes, presentations, regulatory submissions, and communication strategies to influence key stakeholders.
• Standardize reporting mechanisms to track regulatory engagements and advocacy outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders within Regulatory team and other cross functional teams (Legal, Compliance, Product, Network, Ops, etc.) to ensure alignment of business goals with evolving regulatory priorities. 
• Support the CRO in prioritization, resource planning, and coordination of high-impact projects across multiple business lines. 

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Law, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 2–4 years of experience in policy, research or a related strategic function, preferably in telecom, digital, or technology-driven sectors.
• Strong understanding of India’s telecom, digital, and data policy landscape; international exposure will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL preferred).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
