Details of the Job/Internship

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) invites application for the position of Public Prosecutor with 3 years ofexperience in handling prosecution of Criminal Cases.

Eligibility

• They should be holding analogous posts in the parent Cadre or Department.
• Alternatively, they should have two years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level-8 of the 7th CPC or pay band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with a grade pay of Rs. 4800 (pre-revised) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.
• Another alternative is three years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Level-7 of the 7th CPC or pay band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with a grade pay of Rs. 4600 (pre-revised) or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognized university.
• Three years of experience in handling the prosecution of criminal cases.
• The period of deputation, including any period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or Department of the Central Government, shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
• The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

Salary/Stipend

Pay Band-3, Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs. 5400 (Level-10 of 7th CPC).
