Details of the Job/Internship

Commwiser is hiring a PR Manager for its Disputes & Crisis practice with 6–7 years of experience to join their New Delhi office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary communications counsel for clients in litigation, disputes, and crisis situations.
• Design PR strategies tailored to different legal stages: pre-filing, trial/arbitration, and post-judgment.
• Translate complex legal arguments into consistent public messaging and "plain English" narratives.
• Manage relationships with legal and business journalists to ensure accurate coverage of proceedings.
• Lead rapid-response communications for adverse rulings, investigations, or social media crises.
• Oversee digital footprints to identify emerging threats and counter misinformation.
• Draft high-level stakeholder communications, including op-eds, internal statements, and investor updates.
• Partner with digital and public affairs teams to deliver integrated, 360-degree reputation campaigns.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized law school.
• 6–7 years of combined experience in legal practice and/or legal journalism.
• Strong Preference: Experience as a legal reporter at national publications or news agencies.
• Deep understanding of Indian court systems (Supreme Court, High Courts, NCLT, SEBI).
• Prior experience in a PR firm or consultancy handling crisis or disputes mandates.
• Exceptional editorial judgment and ability to work under tight, time-sensitive deadlines.
