Details of the Job/Internship

AB Chambers is hiring a Real Estate Associate with 5+ years of experience to join its office in Bengaluru. The role involves independently handling real estate disputes, transactions, regulatory compliance, and related litigation, with direct client interaction and courtroom practice.

Role and Responsibilities

• Independently manage real estate matters, including property disputes, title searches, land acquisitions, regulatory filings, and civil litigation.
• Draft agreements, deeds, pleadings, appeals, affidavits, applications, legal opinions, and submissions related to real estate matters.
• Appear before District Courts, Sessions Courts, tribunals including RERA, and the Karnataka High Court.
• Handle client communication, meetings, updates, and preparation of senior counsel.
• Conduct legal research on property laws and prepare advisory notes.
• Supervise and mentor juniors and review draft work.
• Manage filings, due diligence, title verification, deadlines, and coordination with external stakeholders.

Eligibility

• 5+ years of post-qualification experience in active real estate practice, including litigation and transactional work.
• Candidates with 3+ years of experience may be considered for exceptionally strong profiles.
• Enrolment with a State Bar Council, with the right to appear before the Karnataka High Court preferred.
• Mandatory proficiency in Kannada, with strong drafting and legal research skills.
• Experience in real estate disputes, title verification, conveyancing, and exposure to RERA compliance, land acquisition, or regulatory matters.
• Client-facing experience and ability to manage matters independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills, professional conduct, and high ethical standards.

Salary/Stipend
