Role and Responsibilities

Interacting with Customers and Management: You will engage with customers and management, addressing their concerns, handling complaints, and considering their suggestions to enhance operations.
Legal Expertise in Land Laws: Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of relevant laws such as the Tamil Nadu Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1961, Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, Tamil Nadu Land Acquisition Act, 2019, Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1991, Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1961, Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964, and Karnataka Land Revenue Rules.
Court Practice: Utilizing your experience in Trail and High Court practice, particularly in Civil Litigation matters, ensuring effective representation and resolution of legal disputes.
Legal Drafting: Demonstrating proficiency in legal drafting, including but not limited to contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
Knowledge of Property Laws: Providing legal advice and expertise in real estate transactions, property law, zoning regulations, and land use matters, facilitating smooth property transactions and compliance.
Document Review and Negotiation: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents related to real estate transactions, overseeing the process from initiation to completion, and safeguarding the interests of the organization.
Compliance Management: Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety protocols in real estate transactions and farm operations, mitigating legal risks and liabilities.
Familiarity with Land Records: Possessing adequate knowledge of UDR, FMB Sketches, Adangal extract, chitta, and the registration process for agricultural lands within Tamil Nadu.

Eligibility

Bachelor's degree in law, with a focus on real estate law
Minimum of 1 years of experience working as a Real Estate Lawyer as well as an advocate before the trail Court.
Extensive knowledge of real estate laws and regulations, zoning laws, and land use laws in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Understanding of the real estate industry and trends in the market
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a client-focused approach
Should be able to Read and Write in Tamil and English ( Mandatory).
