Details of the Job/Internship

Chambers of Prakkash Rohira is hiring a Real Estate Lawyer with experience of 2–5 years to join their office in Bandra West, Mumbai. The role focuses on real estate drafting, due diligence, and conveyancing in a non-litigation capacity, including title investigation, document drafting, and legal analysis related to property transactions.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence and title investigation of land, property, and SRA projects.
• Draft conveyance and ancillary documents including sale deeds, leave and license agreements, conveyance deeds, agreements for sale, and development agreements.
• Prepare, draft, and review property agreements such as agreements to sale, leave and license agreements, lease agreements, and development agreements.
• Draft ancillary deeds including power of attorney and release deeds.
• Conduct title searches and property due diligence.
• Prepare title reports based on documents provided.
• Prepare written legal opinions on property titles.
• Conduct IGR search, CERSAI search, litigation search, and document vetting.
• Examine records of projects listed on RERA and prepare lists of available and missing documents.
• Assist with title work related to SRA lands or projects.
• Prepare documents and exhibits for execution.
• Maintain property files and legal records in an organised manner.

Eligibility

• 2–5 years of experience in real estate drafting, due diligence, and conveyancing.
• Fluent English.
