Details of the Job/Internship
Dentons Link Legal is hiring a Real Estate Lawyer with experience of 3–6 years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage diverse real estate legal mandates, including title searches and property due diligence.
- Review and interpret Marathi-language land records, 7/12 extracts, and historical property documents.
- Draft and negotiate complex real estate agreements, lease deeds, and conveyance deeds.
- Provide legal opinions on property acquisitions, development rights, and regulatory approvals.
- Coordinate with local authorities and registries for document execution and verification.
- Assist in structural advisory for large-scale real estate projects in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Eligibility
- 3 to 6 years of relevant post-qualification experience (PQE) in real estate law.
- Mandatory: Proficiency in understanding the Marathi language.
- Strong background in Mumbai's real estate regulatory framework (RERA, Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, etc.).
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a high-pressure, professional law firm environment.
