Details of the Job/Internship
Maatrum is hiring a Real Estate Lawyer with experience of 2–5 years to join their office in Hyderabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough Title verification and scrutiny of property documents.
- Draft various legal agreements, including sale deeds, lease deeds, and development agreements.
- Provide formal legal opinions on property ownership and encumbrances.
- Perform detailed due diligence for real estate transactions and projects.
- Review local land records and ensure compliance with state-specific property laws.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate smooth property registrations and documentation.
- Translate and interpret legal documents between English and Telugu as required.
Eligibility
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in real estate law.
- Mandatory: Must be a Bar Council–enrolled lawyer.
- Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in both English and Telugu.
- Strong background in non-litigation work, specifically drafting and due diligence.
- In-depth knowledge of property laws and title verification processes.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
