Vatatree Consulting is seeking an experienced Real Estate Lawyer (5–6 years) with strong expertise in Bangalore property documentation processes.
Role and Responsibilities
- Legal & Documentation:
- Handle end-to-end Khata applications, transfers, and related documentation.
- Draft, vet, and finalize sale deeds, agreements, and supporting legal documents.
- Conduct comprehensive title verification and issue legal opinions.
- Oversee registration processes at sub-registrar offices.
- Manage BESCOM transfer and new connection documentation.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of in-house lawyers and field executives.
- Allocate work, monitor progress, and ensure timely closure of cases.
- Provide legal guidance and supervision.
- Maintain operational discipline across field documentation processes.
- Client & Stakeholder Coordination:
- Manage client relationships and provide end-to-end support.
- Communicate and update clients on process status.
- Liaise with BBMP, BESCOM, sub-registrar offices, and other government bodies.
- Resolve escalations and complex issues.
- Compliance & Record Management:
- Maintain organized documentation and legal records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable property laws and regulations.
- Prepare internal reports and updates for management review.
Eligibility
- LLB mandatory.
- 5–6 years of experience in Bangalore property legal processes.
- Experience in Khata, sale deed, registration, BESCOM processes, and title verification.
- Experience managing a legal or field team.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple cases efficiently.
