Details of the Job/Internship
GLS Group is looking for a full-time, on-site Real Estate Legal Assistant to support legal functions including document preparation, legal research, court filings, and trial preparation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law.
- Draft, proofread, and manage legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and motions.
- Handle client communication and inquiries professionally.
- Organize and maintain case files and manage attorney calendars.
- Assist with administrative duties including data entry, billing, and record-keeping.
- File documents with courts and government authorities.
- Support attorneys in trial preparation including assembling exhibits and witness materials.
- Utilize legal software and tools for case and document management.
Eligibility
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Understanding of legal terminology and real estate documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases.
