Details of the Job/Internship

ALYF is hiring a Head of Legal with 5+ years of experience to join its team in Chembur, Mumbai. The role focuses on non-litigation legal matters, legal drafting, and company law advisory.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and finalise commercial agreements, MOUs, contracts, and internal policy documents.
• Prepare legal notices, letters, and communications for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure legal documentation complies with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Advise on corporate and commercial drafting to safeguard organisational interests.
• Provide legal advisory on company law matters for Private Limited Companies and LLPs.
• Support compliance under the Companies Act, 2013, LLP Act, and other applicable laws.
• Assist in corporate structuring, due diligence, and regulatory filings.
• Advise business teams on legal implications of commercial decisions.
• Identify legal risks in contracts and operations and recommend mitigation measures.
• Monitor regulatory changes and proactively update management.

Eligibility

• LLB or equivalent law degree with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong experience in non-litigation legal work, legal drafting, company law advisory, and land acquisition.
• Mandatory experience in real estate-related legal work.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Prior exposure to startups, real estate, or proptech sectors is preferred.

Salary/Stipend
