Details of the Job/Internship
HP is hiring a Regional Legal Counsel with 8–12 years of post-qualification experience in commercial contracts to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal solutions at the country, sub-region, or region level for high-value/risk transactions.
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, managed services, and professional services.
- Deliver expertise in commercial law, antitrust, employment, real estate, litigation, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure compliance.
- Advise senior leadership on organizational legal strategies.
- Lead resolution of complex local legal issues with cross-functional collaboration.
- Develop and deliver training on legal topics to mitigate risks.
- Support corporate governance standards, policies, and processes.
- Mentor junior team members.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
- 8–12 years of post-qualification experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
