IDFC FIRST Bank is hiring a Regional Legal Collection Manager – Multi Products with 10+ years of experience to join their office in Thane. The role involves minimizing losses by maximizing debt recovery through legal routes, managing legal compliance, and collaborating with various business heads to design effective legal strategies.
Role and Responsibilities
- Design strategies to minimize losses and maximize debt recovery using legal tools.
- Ensure compliance with legal rules and regulations.
- Partner with the Corporate Legal team to manage cases in court.
- Co-own collection numbers with Collection Heads.
- Lead the Legal Processing Office and manage backend processes.
- Spearhead legal management systems and SARFAESI processes.
- Handle customer escalations and ad hoc legal requirements.
- Enable empanelment of external vendors from a legal standpoint.
- Arrange for requisite court orders.
- Act as custodian for all retail legal affairs.
- Ensure adoption of internal compliances and regulatory framework.
- Collaborate with the Head of Collections to reduce credit loss and delinquency.
- Recommend process and policy improvements for efficiency.
- Keep updated with market trends and competitor strategies.
- Collaborate across teams to reduce operational costs and increase profitability.
- Monitor productivity, hiring quality, and attrition rates.
- Drive a customer-first culture and ensure high service norms.
- Attract and retain talent for key roles.
- Cooperate with credit, technology, analytics, and risk teams for smooth operations.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Postgraduate in MBA Finance.
- Professional degree in LL.B/LL.M.
- 10+ years of experience in collections.
