Details of the Job/Internship
Capri Global Capital Ltd. is hiring a Regional Legal Manager with 15+ years of experience, including at least 10 years in corporate legal roles within the Mortgage, Banking, NBFC, or HFC sector, to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee corporate legal functions, mortgage documentation, and compliance.
- Review and appraise legal opinion reports and assess cases on legal aspects.
- Ensure knowledge and compliance with mortgage laws and state-specific property laws.
- Manage documentation required for creating valid mortgages.
- Build and manage a network of local advocates for empanelment and legal support.
- Address and resolve legal queries from internal and external auditors.
- Lead and manage a team of 10+ legal professionals across the state.
- Oversee empaneled vendors and advocates across the state.
- Provide exposure to basic litigation matters and maintain liaison with peer legal professionals across industries.
Eligibility
- LL.B (Law Graduate) registered as an Advocate with the State Bar Council.
- Minimum 15+ years of overall experience, with at least 10+ years in corporate legal roles within Mortgage, Banking, NBFC, or HFC sector.
