Details of the Job/Internship
MAS Financial Services Limited is hiring a Regional Legal Manager – LAP (Non-Litigation) to support its legal function. The role involves legal assessment, documentation, compliance, legal advisory, and management of legal affairs related to the LAP portfolio, along with coordination with internal teams and stakeholders.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and manage legal documents related to the LAP portfolio.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance within the region.
- Provide legal consulting and advisory support on legal matters.
- Manage legal affairs and support the company’s legal strategies.
- Handle and support litigation matters, as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to address legal issues effectively.
Eligibility
- Professional degree in law (LLB / LLM or equivalent).
- Proficiency in law and legal compliance.
- Experience in the finance or NBFC sector is preferred.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial services industry.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site environment.
