Muthoot Homefin (India) Limited (MHIL) is hiring for the position of Regional Legal Manager to join their office in Ahmedabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice and opinions on non-litigation matters to management and internal departments.
- Interpret and ensure compliance with housing finance laws, regulations, and guidelines applicable to the company’s operations.
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
- Ensure that all housing finance products and services comply with relevant legal and regulatory standards.
- Review marketing materials and customer-facing documents to ensure compliance and minimize legal risks.
- Assist in resolving non-litigation disputes and customer complaints related to housing finance products and services.
- Identify potential legal risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the company’s interests.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary, ensuring effective communication and efficient resolution of legal matters.
- Conduct legal training sessions for employees to strengthen awareness of compliance requirements and legal issues.
