Details of the Job/Internship
Sealed Energy Systems is hiring for the position of Regulatory Compliance Specialist with 3-5 years of experience to join their office in Ambala.
Role and Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all relevant local and international regulations and standards including BIS, CE, NRTL, RoHS, REACH, UN38.3, MSDS, DGFT, ISO, EPR norms, and hazardous materials transport rules.
- Stay updated on evolving safety and recycling regulations for batteries both in India and globally.
Certification & Documentation:
- Coordinate with certification bodies to secure necessary product approvals (e.g., BIS, CE, UL, UN transport tests).
- Prepare, review, and manage regulatory documentation, filings, and compliance records.
Audits & Risk Management:
- Conduct internal audits to assess regulatory compliance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Collaborate with Quality and R&D teams to ensure that all product modifications meet applicable regulatory standards.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, Law, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in regulatory compliance, ideally within the battery, chemical, or electronics sectors.
- In-depth understanding of battery transport regulations, waste management laws, and preparation of MSDS.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, compliance platforms, and regulatory tracking tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
