Details of the Job/Internship

LiveLawBiz is hiring a Reporter – Indirect Taxes with relevant experience in legal reporting to join their office in Noida.

Role and Responsibilities

• Report on critical developments within the domain of indirect taxation law.
• Cover landmark court decisions, tribunal rulings, and significant regulatory updates.
• Track policy changes from the GST Council, CBIC, and other government bodies.
• Produce clear, accurate, and high-depth news reports under tight deadlines.
• Present complex legal topics in a manner that is accessible to both legal experts and lay readers.
• Utilize multimedia tools to create engaging and platform-specific legal content.
• Manage reporting assignments independently while maintaining high editorial standards.

Eligibility

• Mandatory: Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent).
• Relevant experience in legal reporting or journalism is preferred.
• Strong foundational understanding of indirect tax laws, specifically GST and Customs.
• Excellent news writing skills with a focus on accuracy, depth, and clarity.
• Ability to track and analyze court rulings and legislative policy changes.
• Proficiency in communication for liaising with legal professionals and stakeholders.
• Capability to manage deadlines effectively in a remote or independent setting.
• Qualifications in Journalism or Communications are considered a plus.
