Details of the Job/Internship
BITS Law School, Mumbai is hiring a Research Analyst / Senior Research Analyst (Law) with experience of 2–5 years to join their office at the BITS Pilani Mumbai Campus.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality legal research culminating in peer-reviewed law review articles and shorter research outputs.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute the Law & Policy Fellowship Programme, including curriculum design and stakeholder coordination.
- Liaise with faculty and relevant departments for smooth execution of research and academic initiatives.
- Plan, coordinate, and ensure timely submission of the Standard Essential Patents (SEP) Course, including preparation of instructional materials and quality control.
- Undertake additional academic, research, coordination, and programme-related work relating to the Centre’s activities.
Eligibility
- Five-year or three-year LL.B. degree from a recognised law school with strong academic performance.
- Demonstrable evidence of strong academic research and legal writing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- LL.M. or Master’s degree in Law, preferably in technology law, is preferred.
- Familiarity with SEP licensing, FRAND litigation, standardisation, telecom regulation, and technology law is preferred.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in academia, research roles, or law practice is preferred.
