Details of the Job/Internship

LSEG is hiring a Research Analyst with experience of preferably two years to join their office in Mumbai

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive media and internet searches on entities and individuals in English and a second language.
• Investigate official sources, including company registrars, regulators, and court records, for verification purposes.
• Cooperate with external vendors to verify information and integrate findings into standardized reports.
• Analyze collected data for risks related to sanctions, corruption, bribery, money laundering, and terrorism financing.
• Prepare comprehensive, audit-ready reports in English or foreign languages according to internal methodology.
• Ensure all deliverables meet client-specific requirements and are submitted within strict deadlines.
• Summarize complex information clearly and concisely while maintaining high standards of proofreading and accuracy.
• Stay updated on international affairs and regulatory changes impacting the financial landscape.

Eligibility

• University degree or post-graduate qualification, preferably in International Relations, Political Science, Legal Studies, or Business Management.
• Hindi language proficiency is highly preferred.
• Preferably two years of experience in Compliance, Due Diligence, AML/KYC, or a similar investigative field.
• Excellent written and analytical skills with the ability to summarize complex data into English.
• Strong research skills, including proficiency with online search tools and official databases.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle high volumes of work in a dynamic environment.
• Proactive approach to tasks with a high level of initiative and ownership.
