Details of the Job/Internship

Chambers of Advocate Nidhi Singh is inviting applications for the position of Research Assistant / Research Intern to assist in litigation, arbitration, policy research, and legal scholarship.

Duration: 

• Research Internship: 4–8 weeks.
• Research Assistant: 3–6 months (extendable).

Role and Responsibilities

• Legal research for matters before the Supreme Court of India and High Courts.
• Drafting SLPs, writ petitions, legal opinions, arbitration briefs, and research memoranda.
• Research in areas including constitutional law, arbitration, competition law, AI & technology law, and public policy.
• Assistance with comparative legal research (India, U.S., EU).
• Preparing case notes, policy briefs, and academic publications.
• Supporting litigation strategy and case preparation.
• Assistance in thought leadership initiatives, podcasts, and legal scholarship.

Eligibility

• Be 4th / 5th year law students in a 5-year program or recent law graduates / LL.M. candidates.
• Demonstrate excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Have strong interest in Supreme Court litigation, arbitration, competition law, technology law, or public policy.
• Be comfortable with legal research databases (SCC Online, Manupatra, Westlaw, Lexis).
• Prior research, mooting, or publication experience is preferred.
